Here are some new Features of FireFox 4 Beta
Firefox Panorama
Firefox Panorama, formerly known as Tab Candy, is a tab-management tool. In its former guise, it was an add-on developed for Firefox 3.5, though from now on it will be a standard feature. You can create groups of tabs – those that relate to work, for example, or an interest or hobby – and keep them separate from other tabs you might have open. At the touch of a button, you can get an overview of each of the open pages in your tab group – much like Opera’s Speed Dial feature. You can also flick between groups easily and create custom names for each one.
Firefox Sync
Firefox Sync is a tool that makes your browsing history, bookmarks, tabs and stored passwords available across multiple computers, including your iPhone – if you have the Firefox Home app installed. All you need to do is activate the function on every device you want to share data with. Sharing stored passwords over multiple computers might sound a bit iffy but there is no need to worry – Firefox Sync encrypts all your data before sending it to the server and Mozilla insists that it “does not track your travels throughout the web”. Additionally, the feature itself is protected by both a password and a memorable phrase.
Firefox 4 support HTML 5 video
A new HTML5 parser and full support for web video, audio, drag & drop, and file handling means Firefox 4 is ready to run the best web apps of both today and tomorrow. As pioneers of HTML5 video standards, Firefox also supports the WebM format so you can watch open HD quality video.
